In Power BI Desktop, choose New measure and paste the generated DAX. Confirm the columns, relationships, and filter context in your model.

What to know

Choose a measure pattern and enter the names from your model. Time intelligence patterns require a continuous date table marked as a date table and an appropriate active relationship to the fact table. Format the YoY measure as Percentage. A zero or blank prior year returns BLANK.
