Percentage Change Calculator

Calculate the absolute difference and percentage increase or decrease between two values.

Put the change in perspective.Browser processing
25.00%

Increase of 25.00 (from 100 to 125).

How to use it

From input to insight.

Enter the old and new values, then calculate. Example: moving from 100 to 125 is an increase of 25, or 25%.

What to know

Percentage change = (new value − old value) ÷ old value × 100. A zero baseline is undefined. For a negative baseline, the percentage sign can be counterintuitive, so use the absolute difference to describe the direction.
