Choose the category and amount columns in both files. Set an absolute tolerance and compare aggregated totals. Export the category-level reconciliation.

What to know

Categories use exact, case-sensitive text; a blank category is a valid group. Amounts must be plain numbers. Tolerance is in the units of your values. Categories absent from either file are flagged even when their amount is zero. Decimal calculations use JavaScript floating point.
